WESTBROOK, Percy Gordon - Passed away peacefully at the age of 92 in Largo, Fl., November 14th, 2009. Husband of Helen. Predeceased by his 1st wife Ida (Lawson), his son Garth (Dorothy). Sadly missed by daughter Faye Staples (Reg.) grand-daughter Cindy Newman (George), great-grandchildren Sara & Todd, brother Clarence, sisters Alma Hetherington, Dorothy Baxter (Gordon), Edith Pitura, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Harvey, Lloyd (Jean), Herman, Basil, sister Hazel Brown. Percy was born in Beechgrove, Que. He worked at Falconbridge Nickel Mine and lived in Falconbridge until his retirement. He was an avid curler and golfer. Retired to Lagoon City Ont., spending winters in Florida. Percy was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge, and a lifetime member of Mine Mill Nickel Union Sudbury local. Memorial service at Christ Church Anglican, Aylmer, Que., June 18th, 2010 at 3 p.m., inurnment at Bellevue Cemetery. Donations to Cystic Fibrosis, or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
