WESTGATE, Joy - In loving memory of Joy Westgate (nee McCart) who passed away Sunday, September 20th, 2009 at the St. Joseph Health Centre at the age of 84. Beloved wife of Clifford Westgate predeceased 1984. Loving mother of Ron Westgate (wife Suzanne) of Lansdowne and Colleen Carmichael (husband Brad) of Wahnapitae. Cherished grandmother of Amey, Kimberly and Cara and great- grandmother of Mollee, Cooper and Julia. Dear sister of Noel McCart of Parry Sound. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Laura (Leduc) McCart, brother Bud and sister Jacquie. She will be missed by her niece Dana Akey of Bruderheim, Alberta. Joy worked at Defense Industries Ltd. in Ajax as a munitions worker during WW II. She had a great love for music and was the happiest when surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. At Joy's request, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation.
