Arson unit investigates fire that killed three people in Ottawa: police

OTTAWA — Police in Ottawa say three people have died in a fire early this morning.

Investigators say an 83-year-old woman and two men aged 76 and 49 died as a result of the blaze (on Britannia Road.)

They say the force's arson unit is investigating, alongside firefighters and the office of the Ontario fire marshal.

No other details have been released at this time.
