Inmate at Bath Institution charged with counsel to commit murder

NAPANEE, Ont. — A 49-year-old inmate at the Bath Institution has been charged with counsel to commit murder.

Provincial police say the accused was arrested on Saturday and appeared in court in Kingston on Sunday.

His next court appearance has been scheduled for May 8 in Napanee.

Police say the charge is the result of an investigation that began in August.

The accused cannot be named due to a court-imposed publication ban.
