Man, 22, charged with first-degree murder in Brantford, Ont., double homicide

Police say they've charged a 22-year-old man with murder in the killing of two people in Brantford, Ont.

Sixty-four-year-old Larry Reynolds and 62-year-old Dorothy Lynn VanEvery were found dead in their home on the morning of July 18, 2019.

Police said at the time the pair had gunshot wounds.

They also said investigators had located a vehicle seen leaving the area.

The accused, Kareem Zedan of Pickering, Ont., was arrested Tuesday in Thunder Bay, Ont. and charged with two counts of first-degree murder.

He's due to appear in court by video on April 2.
