Man, teen arrested in slaying in Shawinigan, Que., on Tuesday night

SHAWINIGAN, Que. — A man in his 20s and a teenager have been arrested in the death of a 50-year-old man found dead in an apartment in Shawinigan, Que., on Tuesday.

Quebec provincial police say the two suspects were arrested without incident late Tuesday and early Wednesday.

Police weren't able to say whether there were links between the suspects and the victim, who was found in a downtown apartment at about 4 a.m.

He was pronounced dead in hospital not long after his arrival.

Both suspects will be questioned by police and will be arraigned later Wednesday.

Police say the victim had marks of violence on his body and an autopsy will be performed.
