Shooting at memorial for slain Toronto rapper leaves two injured, one seriously

Toronto police say two men were shot at a memorial for a slain rapper.

They say they received a call for shots fired around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday in the city's north end just hours after a funeral for Dimarjio Jenkins, who went by the name Houdini.

Police say two men were shot at the memorial for the rapper, which sent the crowd fleeing.

They say the shooting victims were able to make their way to hospital, where one is in serious condition.

Police are still looking for the shooter in the Jenkins homicide and have a warrant out for the arrest of a 17-year-old boy.

Video released by police shows a gunfight in downtown Toronto that left Jenkins and another male dead while a woman bystander was also shot.

An earlier shooting in the city's East York borough at around 8 p.m. on Tuesday left one man dead.
