Thunder Bay police arrest man, 21, as second suspect in death of teen girl

THUNDER BAY, Ont. — Police have arrested a second suspect in the alleged homicide of a 14-year-old girl from Thunder Bay, Ont.

Kayliegh Ivall's body was found by a passerby in the northwestern Ontario city early last week.

Her cause of death has not been released.

Police previously arrested a 14-year-old girl and charged her with first-degree murder in Kayliegh's death.

They say 21-year-old Jarett Sainnawap was arrested on Tuesday evening and now faces the same charge.

Police have not shared details about any relationship that may have existed between the victim and the accused.

They say the investigation is ongoing.
