Toronto police charge 15-year-old boy with murder in death of 16-year-old boy

Toronto police say they've arrested a 15-year-old boy in the death of another teenager.

They say they have charged the boy with first-degree murder in the death of a 16-year-old boy.

Police say they were called for a shooting in the city's east end shortly after 6 p.m. on July 3, 2021.

They allege a black SUV pulled up near the 16-year-old and opened fire.

Police charged a 15-year-old girl with first-degree murder in October.

No one involved can be named due to provisions in the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
