TORONTO — More than a dozen hospitals across Ontario are implementing mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policies for visitors, in addition to mandates for their staff.

SUDBURY, Ont. — Police in Sudbury, Ont., say a man has died following a shooting Monday night. Investigators say they were called around 10 p.m. on reports of gunshots and found a 40-year-old man dead inside a home.

BRAMPTON, Ont. — Police say a man has died following a shooting in Brampton, northwest of Toronto. Peel Regional Police say they were called shortly before 1 a.m. to an area near Dixie Road and Peter Robertson Boulevard.

Toronto Public Health has ordered a west-end high school to move to fully remote learning due to an outbreak of COVID-19. The public health agency says this is its first whole-school dismissal of the academic year.
