A suspect facing charges in the death of a man killed in a boating accident on Ramsey Lake June 21, made his first court appearance Wednesday.
Michael Christakos, 38, has been charged with impaired driving causing death, operating a motorized vehicle with more than the legal limit of alcohol in his blood and failing to remain at the scene of an accident.
Samuele Pisani, 23, was killed when two powerboats collided on Ramsey Lake the afternoon of June 21.
Christakos, who has been released on bail, will make his next court appearance in late August.
