A Canada Day trip to Manitoulin Island didn’t go according to plan for one Sudbury family.

On July 1, a member of Sudbury’s Ontario Provincial Police T.I.M.E unit reported stopping a vehicle travelling 53-kilometres over the speed limit on Highway 69.

The speed resulted in a stunt driving charge, as well as a seven-day vehicle impoundment and seven-day licence suspension.
