A vehicle crashed into the Korner Konfectionary Store on Barrydowne Road Wednesday morning and fled the scene, said police.
A store clerk alerted police a vehicle crashed into the front wall of the building at 7:17 a.m. Wednesday, and caused significant damage.
The driver reportedly fled the scene before police arrived.
Surveillance footage from the store has captured the entire event. The suspect vehicle appears to be a blue Toyota sedan, police said.
This vehicle will have damage to the front bumper. Neither the suspect driver, nor the vehicle itself has been identified at this time.
This investigation is ongoing and the Police are seeking the assistance from the public in identifying the person and vehicle involved.
