Car theft rash lands five in jail

What's more, according to Greater Sudbury Police Service Staff Sergeant Todd Zimmerman, is all of the vehicles were recovered safely, without injury or high-speed pursuit initiated by the GSPS.

Charged in the thefts are five young men: two of Sudbury, three of no fixed address and all under 25 years of age.

William Hulan, 24, Andre Martel, 20,, Tim St. Germain, 18, Sudbury's Josh Burton,18 and Rikki Gadabushie, 22, together face 17 charges, including theft, possession of stolen property and breach of recognizance.

All were held for a bail hearing as of Monday morning.

Police are urging Sudburians to lock their vehicles up in order to help reduce the incidence of theft in the city.
