Police say several criminal charges and traffic violation citations have been laid in connection with a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Highway 69, south of Sudbury, on Monday.

When Ontario Provincial Police were dispatched to the scene Monday afternoon, only one vehicle was on the scene in Servos Township, said police. There were two occupants in the vehicle, who were transported to hospital by Sudbury Paramedic Services with non-life-threatening injuries.

Nipissing West Detachment OPP said a second vehicle in that crash had failed to remain at the scene. Police said the vehicle and driver were later located.

The driver of that vehicle was a suspended driver and the vehicle had been stolen, police said.
