Greater Sudbury Police say they've received five complaints already this morning from motorists whose vehicles were struck by chunks of ice flying off other vehicles.
This should go without saying but: Clean ice and snow off your vehicle before hitting the road so you don't put other people's lives and property at risk.
"So far this morning, our Comm Centre has received five complaints of ice flying off of vehicles & striking & damaging other vehicles' windshields," the police tweet reads.
Remember, you are liable for any injury or damage caused by debris coming off your vehicle and causing an accident, damages or injury. If your vehicle has been damaged in this way, head to the Collision Reporting Centre in Azilda at the Lionel E. Lalonde Centre, 239 Montée Principale.
