The affected vehicles have been towed, and the roadway is now clear, say Greater Sudbury Police.

Greater Sudbury Police have issued a correction to information released by the service earlier about a collision on Regent Street this morning.

Police say it involves three vehicles, not two, as originally stated.

One person is being transported to hospital.

Tow trucks are en route to remove the affected vehicles.

The collision involves two vehicles. Police and EMS are on scene. Expect delays in the area.

Greater Sudbury Police say emergency services are en route to a collision at the intersection of Regent and McLeod streets.

The extent of injuries is unknown, police said in a tweet issued at 8:52 a.m. Monday.

Motorists should expect delays in area.
