Greater Sudbury Police reported in a tweet sent out at 9 a.m. that the road is now clear.

Original story:

Greater Sudbury Police say there has been a collision involving multiple vehicles on Municipal Road 55 at Balsam Street in the Copper Cliff area.

A tweet sent out just before 8 a.m. said no injuries are reported, but the two lanes heading towards Sudbury are currently blocked. Motorists will experience delays in the area. Police ask that people please be patient or find an alternate route.

A post on the Copper Cliff Facebook page said the collision involved a school bus and two cars. A parent commented that she had been informed it was her daughter's school bus that was involved, but received a call from the school bus consortium saying all the kids were safe.
