Big Nickel Mine Road is now reopened, Greater Sudbury Police said in a tweet at 10:02 a.m. A sand truck is en route to sand the roadway. Motorists are asked to travel in the area with caution in the meantime.

Both lanes of Big Nickel Mine Road are required to be shut down for a short time while the vehicle is removed, Greater Sudbury Police said in a tweet at 9:51 a.m.

Greater Sudbury Police have responded to two collisions on area roadways this morning.
One is on Big Nickel Mine Road, midway between Elm Street and the off/on ramps onto MR55/Lorne Street. The extent of injuries is unknown, police said in a tweet at 8:50 a.m.
The other is a single vehicle collision on Falconbridge Road/Skead Road. The extent of injuries is also unknown in the case of this collision, police said in a tweet at 8:52 a.m.
Motorists may experience delays as a result of both collisions, police say.
