The coroner’s office is investigating after a man was found dead in a house in the Flour Mill on Friday.

Greater Sudbury Police had a home on the corner of Laforest Avenue and Bond Street cordoned off all weekend while they investigated. An unmarked police car was still parked outside the building as of Monday afternoon.

GSPS has turned the investigation over to the office of the coroner, as foul play is not suspected, but the man’s cause of death is still unknown.

“This is a Coroner’s investigation at this time and is ongoing,” police spokesperson Sarah Kaelas told Sudbury.com today. “The identity of the deceased has not yet been confirmed, however the cause of death has been deemed not suspicious at this time.”
