The Coroner’s Office is conducting a post-mortem exam after police were called to the scene of a sudden death on June 22. Greater Sudbury Police spokesperson Kaitlyn Dunn confirmed this morning that at around 7 p.m. last night, officers answered a call for service regarding a sudden death in an abandoned building on The Kingsway.

The body of a 40-year-old man was discovered in the boarded-up house.

As the cause of death is unknown at this time, an autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death.
