Domestic disturbance leads to charges for Sudburian

A Sudbury resident is one of two people charged following a domestic disturbance at a residence in the hamlet of Hallébourg near Hearst on March 14, the OPP reported this week.

A 28-year-old from Sudbury is charged with public mischief, assault and uttering threats and was to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice video bail court in Hearst on March 15.

A 27-year-old resident of Hallébourg is charged with breach of recognizance and failure to comply with a release order and was released on an undertaking with a court date of April 21.

The OPP will not release the names of the accused in order to protect the identity of the victim.
