A 73-year-old Sudbury man is one of two people facing serious drug charges following the raid of an Ontario Street residence by Greater Sudbury Police Tuesday.
A search of the residence resulted in police finding dozens of powerful prescription drugs, including GHB, a well-known date rape drug. The total street value of the drugs seized was just under $3,000 in cash. Police also seized a shotgun, rifle and over $12,000 in cash.
Charged with drug possession, property and weapons offences is Harold Bertrim Barnes, 73, and Tina Kelly, 26. Peter Bertuzzi, 47, is charged with possession of a controlled substance.
