Northbound traffic on Notre Dame was slowed to a crawl on Tuesday afternoon as Greater Sudbury Police and EMS workers attended the scene of a collision involving a motor vehicle and a man in a wheel chair.
The collision occurred at around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Notre Dame Avenue and Louis Street. The intersection is open to traffic, but vehicles are moving slowly as officers clean up the scene.
According to reports from the GSPS, an elderly man has been transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
