An elderly woman struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Notre Dame Avenue and King Street on Oct. 3 has died from her injuries, police confirmed.
Police said the woman died last week. After the collision she was transported to Health Sciences North and was in critical condition.
After the crash, police said they determined the driver of the motor vehicle involved in the collision was not at fault.
“Upon review of video surveillance footage of the intersection along with witness testimony it has been confirmed that the driver of the motor vehicle was travelling within the posted speed limit and had the right of way at the intersection at the time of the collision,” police said in a press release.
