Four members of the same family have been charged after the Greater Sudbury Police investigation into the possession of stolen property from two separate incidents originating in Quebec.

The street crime unit executed a search warrant on Jan. 2 at an address on Main Street in Blezard Valley. More than $160,000 in property was recovered, including a 1991 48-foot flatbed trailer from Loretville, Que., valued at $48,000. Also stolen was lumber estimated at $20,000 and a 2002 backhoe valued at $100,000 reported stolen late last October.

A father and mother and their two sons face numerous theft and possession of stolen property charges.
