A woman from Florida had her car impounded in Northern Ontario over the weekend after she was caught speeding at more than 160 km/h.

Ontario Provincial Police Sudbury detachment said in a tweet they conducted the traffic stop Sunday, near the intersection of Highway 69 and Highway 637.

As a result of the incident, the 20-year-old was charged with stunt driving, and as a result, had her driver’s licence suspended and vehicle impounded for seven days.

She is scheduled to appear in court in September to face her charges.
