Greater Sudbury Police have arrested four people suspected in a 2003 home invasion that took place on Gravel Dr. in Hanmer.

On March 16, 2003, three masked men broke into the house and struck the owner with a crowbar. Police say the victim was bound with duct tape and threatened with death if he didn't help the men find the valuables located in the house.

The suspects stole $9,000 in cash removed from a safe and approximately $30,000 in jewelry.

Police say that although the fourth person arrested didn't enter the house, she is allegedly involved in the crime.

The four have been charged with break and enter, robbery, forcible confinement, threatening death and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence. The three who entered the house have also been charged with disguise with intent.

Police are now looking for a fifth they believe was also involved in the incident although they don't have a description of the suspect at this time.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers at 675-TIPS.
