Updated: Missing Barrie girl has been located

Sudburians had been asked to keep an eye out for the 17-year-old, as police thought she might have travelled here

Shannon Gadon Krienke was safely located June 19, according to the Barrie Police Service. They thanked the public for their assistance.

People in this area are being asked to keep an eye out for 17-year-old Shannon Gadon Krienke, who has been reported missing in the Barrie area.

Barrie Police Service say they believe she may be in French River, Sudbury or North Bay.

They say she has been missing from her home since June 4, although intermittent contact has been made through her Facebook account.

The teen is described as white, 5-1, 100 pounds, with short blonde hair, blue eyes and piercings in her right eye and bottom lip. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, faded blue jeans and black high-tops. Gadon Krienke could possibly be carrying a long board.

Greater Sudbury Police are asking that people in this area keep an eye out for her, and if you see her, to phone them at 705-675-9171.
