Grand employees assaulted

Police took a man into custody this morning (Friday, April 5) after several employees at the Grand Night Club were assaulted by a man wielding a knife.
Police took a man into custody this morning (Friday, April 5) after several employees at the Grand Night Club were assaulted by a man wielding a knife.

According to a news release from the Greater Sudbury Police Services, officers arrested the man at the scene and recovered the weapon used in the attack.

The victims were sent to St. Joseph's Health Centre for treatment and later released.

Kevin Boyle, 25, of 190 Eyre St., is charged with possession of a dangerous weapon, assault causing bodily harm, resisting arrest, breach of probation and obstructing police.
