K-9 track fails to locate Lasalle convenience store robbery suspect

Greater Sudbury Police are investigating after a robbery of a convenience store on Lasalle Boulevard early Thursday morning.

At around 5:45 a.m. March 26, a man entered the store with his face covered, displayed a knife and left the store on foot with an undetermined number of scratch tickets.

The employee was not injured during the interaction. Police did not provide the name of the convenience store that was robbed.

The K9 Unit conducted a dog track in the Lasalle-Falconbridge area that ended just before 6:55 a.m. 

The suspect was not located. He is described as being white, around six feet tall, approximately 200 pounds, and wearing dark clothes (a black jacket and black ball cap).

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
