Greater Sudbury Police in a tweet at 2:43 a.m. Wednesday that the matter has "come to a positive conclusion" and St. George Street is now open for use.

Greater Sudbury Police say they're on scene at St. George Street in the Flour Mill, dealing with what they're calling a "dynamic situation."

"Police are requesting the public to remain away from the area on St. George Street between Laforest and Notre Dame," said the tweet, issued by GSPS just before 7 p.m.
