Henri Montpellier was located deceased by members of the OPP Underwater Search & Recovery, Greater Sudbury Police said in a tweet at 11:48 p.m. Sunday night.

"Our deepest condolences go out to his family," the tweet added. Greater Sudbury Police asked that people respect the family's privacy at this difficult time, and thanked the OPP and North Shore Search and Rescue for their assistance in the matter.

Greater Sudbury Police continue to search for 55-year-old Henri Montpellier, who was last seen July 18 around 6:30 p.m. in the area of Vermilion South Shore Road and Lockerby Mine Access. 

Police have partnered with North Shore Search & Rescue in their search of the shoreline, while their marine units assist Ontario Provincial Police Underwater Search and Recovery team below the surface. 

Montpellier is 6-1, weighs around 235 pounds, with short dark hair and brown eyes. He sometimes wears glasses as seen in the photo and was last seen wearing a blue tank top and shorts.
