Greater Sudbury Police Officers are still observing vehicles driving with studded tires. 

The deadline to remove studded tires from a motor vehicle was extended to May 31 in 2014. 

That being said, studded tires must be removed by May 31 of each year. 

Motorists can reinstall studded tires on Sept. 1. The fine for driving with studded tires when prohibited is $110.
