Hanmer man wanted on outstanding warrant caught following break and enter

A 34-year-old Hanmer man wanted on an outstanding warrant was arrested Jan. 30 following a break and enter at a home on Front Street in West Nipissing.

During the investigation, provincial police officers talked to a person of interest on the street, who identified the suspect. 

A weapon and small amount of suspected methamphetamine was found and seized after the arrest.

The suspect is charged with failure to comply with a release order, failure to comply with a probation order, carrying a concealed weapon, and possession.

He was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on March 25 in West Nipissing.
