Greater Sudbury Police a heavy police presence and the K9 unit in the Grandview park area of New Sudbury in relation to an assault that took place on a nearby trail. A 25-year-old man sustained minor injuries as a result of the altercation. Police are reporting that one man fled into the wooded area.
The public is asked to avoid the area while the officers are on scene.
