Highway 17 between Coniston and the bypass was re-opened on Oct. 13 in the early evening.

Sudbury Police are at the scene of a serious motor vehicle collision on Highway 17 between the bypass and Coniston.
GSPS tweeted at around 5:05 p.m. that the road will remain closed in both directions for several hours.
A detour is in place and police are asking that motorists follow the signs.
There are no reports of injuries at this time, please check back with Sudbury.com as updates become available.
