Updated: Hwy. 64 in Alban reopened after truck hits the ditch, lands on a house

A Sudbury.com reader sent in a photo of a commercial truck stuck in the hydro wires off the side of Highway 64

The highway had been reopened by 3:25 a.m., according to the OPP.

Ontario Provincial Police have closed off a section of Highway 64 in Alban between Courchsene Road and Highway 607 due to downed power lines.

A Sudbury.com reader sent in a photo of a truck stuck in the hydro wires off the side of Highway 64.

Extent of any injuries due to the collision are unknown at this time

The investigation is ongoing and the section of Highway 64 remains closed.
