Highway 144 has been fully reopened after a three-vehicle collision in the Chelmsford area early this morning.

The OPP sent out the following tweet at around 7 a.m.

“COLLISION: #Hwy144 b/t McKenzie Rd & Joanette Rd #Chelmsford - Multiple vehicles blocking highway, emergency services attending.”

Greater Sudbury Police also sent out a tweet at around 7 a.m., saying they were assisting the OPP at the scene. Staff Sgt. John Valtonen said he thinks there were minor injuries resulting from the crash.

The OPP sent out a second tweet about the collision just before 9 a.m., saying the vehicles had been towed and the highway cleared.
