The northbound lanes of Highway 400 at Exit 189, near MacTier, remain closed as of 10:30 a.m. after a transport truck flipped over early on Nov. 11.
The truck, which was travelling northbound on the highway at around 3:30 a.m., was carrying two fuel tankers, carrying 52,000 litres of diesel and stove oil. The driver left the highway, lost control of the truck, which then rolled over, causing fuel to spill.
A 66-year-old man was pulled from the truck's cab, and transported to hospital, where he was treated for non life-threatening injuries.
Due to the spill, the highway was completely closed until 9 a.m., when the southbound lanes were reopened.
While the northbound lanes remain closed, there's a detour at MacTier on the old Highway 69.
West Parry Sound OPP, along with the Ministry of Transportation and the Ministry of the Environment, are investigating the incident.

The northbound lanes of Highway 400 at Exit 189, located near Mactier, are closed after a Nov. 11 motor vehicle collision involving a tractor-trailer, according to a press release from the OPP.
The southbound lanes of Highway 400 are now open.
