Improper licence plates lead to slew of charges

A man whose licence was suspended due to an impaired driving-related conviction was caught behind the wheel in Hanmer on June 13, said Greater Sudbury Police Service. He was pulled over for having improper licence plates.

A man whose licence was suspended due to an impaired driving-related conviction was caught behind the wheel in Hanmer on June 13, said Greater Sudbury Police Service.

He was pulled over for having improper licence plates. The vehicle was also uninsured.

He was arrested and taken to police headquarters where he was charged with driving while disqualified, four counts of driving under suspension, plates unauthorized and no insurance.

He was scheduled for bail court on June 14. His vehicle was impounded for 45 days.
