Update: Police make arrest in connection to suspected robbery

Greater Sudbury Police arrested and charged a 34-year-old man with robbery and breach of recognizance on July 18, in connection to an incident in the Mountain Street area on July 16.

Despite the use of a K-9 track, Greater Sudbury Police were unsuccessful in locating a robbery suspect Sunday evening.

Just after 5 p.m. July 16, police were dispatched to Louis Street after a robbery was reported.

A 31-year-old man sustained minor injuries in an altercation with another man. The suspect allegedly stole a small amount of money and fled the scene.

A K-9 track of the suspect was unsuccessful.

The suspect is described as being in his 30s, aboriginal, around 6-0 tall, and with a heavier build. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt.
