Greater Sudbury Police Service called in the K9 tracking unit to find a 14-year-old boy wanted in connection to a break and enter in the McCrea Heights area on Nov. 13, police said in a news release.
Officers set up a containment area and used the K9 unit due to the fact it was reported the teen had a knife.
The teen was found and arrested at about 4:45 p.m. on Magnolia Street in the New Sudbury area. He was found in possession of articles from the residence including several knives although they were not used as weapons.
He was scheduled to appear in bail court on Nov. 14 and is charged with break and enter, possession of property obtained by crime and three counts of breach of probation.
