Greater Sudbury Police are investigating a robbery that occurred on Kathleen Street around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.

A man was walking on Kathleen Street, when he was grabbed from behind and thrown to the ground. The suspect — another man — brandished what's described as a kitchen knife.

The victim managed to get free, and the suspect fled the scene. Concerned citizens contacted police after hearing the disturbance.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, 6-0, 180 pounds, and wearing a dark-coloured jogging suit.
