Lasalle Blvd. fully re-opened following crash near entrance to Collège Boréal

Updated at 9:34 a.m.: Greater Sudbury Police advise that debris has been cleaned off the roadway and the vehicles removed following this morning's crash near the entrance to Collège Boréal. 

The crash occurred around 7:30 a.m. today and involved two vehicles. Police have not provided an update on the extent of any injuries.

Updated at 9:08 a.m.: Greater Sudbury Police will be opening one lane of traffic on Lasalle Boulevard near Collège Boréal where a crash had closed the road way in both dirctions earlier this morning. 

Officers will remain on scene to direct traffic while crews clear debris from the roadway. Traffic will be moving, but slowly.

Greater Sudbury Police say this collision involved two vehicles, and there's an unknown extent of injuries.

Officers are on scene to direct traffic.

"Traffic is being rerouted down Frood Rd or through Boreal," Greater Sudbury Police reported on Twitter at 8:19 a.m. "If you can find an alternative route, please do. If not, please be patient and respectful to motorists and emergency services."

Lasalle Boulevard is closed in both directions near Collége Borèal this morning due to a collision, Greater Sudbury Police said on Twitter at 7:27 a.m. Thursday.

"Please find an alternate route to your destination," police said.
