During the month of December, Greater Sudbury Police checked 3,708 vehicles and charged seven individuals with impaired driving during RIDE spot checks throughout the city.

While on general patrol, uniform patrol officers charged an additional 16 individuals with impaired driving related offences.

These numbers combined make for the highest number of individuals charged with impaired related offences in a single month in 2016.
