A 35-year-old man from Levack faces impaired driving and drug charges following a single motor-vehicle crash on Highway 17 in Massey on Jan. 22.

The driver had a suspended license and was subsequently arrested. Furthermore, a Standard Field Sobriety Test (SFST) was conducted.

As a result, the man is charged with impaired driving, possession of a Schedule 1 Substance (methamphetamines and opioids), as well as driving without insurance, with cannabis readily available and driving while under suspension.

He is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Espanola on March 7.
