Spotchecks set up at three intersections in Greater Sudbury led to several charges over the weekend, including two related to drinking and driving.

In all, Greater Sudbury Police stopped 241 vehicles at checks set up at the Garson/Coniston Road, Bancroft Drive at Brentwood and Paris Street at Science North. One, three-day driver's license suspension was issued, and a suspended driver was also charged.
