Greater Sudbury Police caught a man driving at 129 km/h on Notre Dame Avenue at around 10:20 p.m. Sunday night. That road has a speed limit of 60 km/h, meaning the driver was going more than double the speed limit.
The driver — who has a G2 novice driver's licence — was charged with speeding and stunt driving. His driver's licence was suspended and his vehicle impounded for seven days.
