A man targetting senior citizens in the city was charged by police with four counts of fraud under $5,000.
Matthew St. Aubin, 21, of Sudbury was approaching senior citizens about doing renovations on their homes.
Operating under the company name of A.M. Roofing, Windows and Siding, it is alleged that Aubin would get money in advance and then fail to complete the work.
Aubin appeared in court yesterday for a bail hearing.
Police urge residents to be cautious about people or businesses that are doing door-to-door soliciting for renovations. It?s better to use word of mouth referrals or deal with established companies.
